Accuracy of the Qibla Finder
The Qibla angle is calculated mathematically, but the direction shown on your screen depends on your device’s GPS, compass sensor, calibration and surroundings. Metal objects, electronics, magnetic phone cases and indoor locations can make a phone compass inaccurate. Always cross check the result with a map, a mosque’s mihrab or another reliable method, especially when setting a permanent prayer direction.
